haterhead

....is there ever a review of a radiohead concert that goes, "It kind of sucked. They played a bunch of songs I didn't know and they all sounded the same. I didn't understand why everyone was having such a great time. I think they are all in a cult or something. Afterwards I felt sort of sad."

I'm just saying. It's not like they ever, like, throw in a Prince cover or anything. And usually not free, either, those shows.

I actually didn't stay for the whole Radiohead set... I'm just not that into them... Is that wrong? I felt that not riding home on a sardine packed Muni was more important than standing there swaying for another two hours while the sound intermittently went out. Maybe if I was really high I might like them more.

All their recent songs sound like ambient noodling prog-rock....I'd stay around to the end to hear one of their sad anthems, like "Fake Plastic Trees," but it seems like a 50/50 chance whether they play any of those old songs....anyway the scalped tix for the LA show were going for $300 minimum so I gave up even trying....
